This UX case study focused on improving the bucket modification flow for KFC's POS system. The study presented a new design solution that simplified the menu options, improved the modification process, and added more customization options, resulting in a more positive user experience.

Credit Limit Increase

By recognizing the customer journey, we discovered that credit cardholders expect automatic credit increases for being valued customers, crucial for credit builders. Our existing system (2017) didn't align with this, so we took on the task of promoting this feature via our channel and offering eligible users the chance to request it.

Advocate for Balance. To advise scalable, human-centered decisions accurately, I will always shape solutions based on validated problems, human behavior, and business feasibility.

Accessibility

Design inclusively. UX is NOT self-expression. It's about your audience and their circumstance. The goal is to mimic/ predict user's factors, behaviors, and psychology. No matter their situation.

Process & Documentation

Communicate to all. I'm a big believer that a strong process has regular documentation. It serves as a reference, giving context to the product's lifespan from the initial concept to the current iteration. All while showing the value of our role.

Mentorship

Watch others grow. Helping my team understand best practices and teaching them how to make it work for their struggles is only half the battle in a company. Often, I educate other departments and teams on the importance of UX and how they can apply it to the team to make a kick-butt product together.
